The whole house has been sick now for a few days. My doc says I have a viral infection called RSV so I have to use this thing called a nebulizer every few hours. I’m not a big fan of it but i guess its helping my lungs clear up. I can’t wait til we’re all better. Mom keeps looking at me with sad eyes…can’t take it anymore.

YUM! Rice cereal!

a rare post from mom
Jack is taking the night off from blogging to recuperate from his day at the hospital where he took time out from charming the staff to have a little outpatient surgery. Nothing to worry about though. All is well and our little boy is better than ever. Slept alot afterward but then played and smiled alot too so we know he’s all good. Lots of clothing changes today…as you’ll see below.
This first picture shows him in my favorite shirt of his….truer words were never spoken.

Little friend given to him by the hospital staff

Ok – so he wasn’t all smiles but he’s entitled

New for 2008 – the jackspot.com adds video!
Yes – we are big time here at thejackspot.com. Thank you Uncle Trevor and Aunt Lechelle for my cool new Flip video camera! My mom just figured out how to edit today so expect to see more videos of me here on the blog.
For my first number…I bring you “Crying on Command”. It’s a skill that my mommy wishes she had had when she was out in Hollywood. I’m already a pro.
Zzzzzzzzz
Me and my Grandpa
My Uncle Trevor bought me this cool Pistons jersey and Michigan hat for HIS bday. It’s a new tradition – I get gifts on other people’s bdays – how cool is that!? Here I am showing it off with Grandpa.
(this Chauncey pic is for you, Steven)

My trip to North Carolina…part 3…my first kegger
My Uncle Trevor works as a graphic artist for the Natty Greene’s Brewing Company in Greensboro, NC. Here are some pictures from my visit to their new brewery. If you’re ever in the area head to the Pub. It was really good!
This is my Uncle Trevor working in his office

This is Heather, a fan of thejackspot, and a soon-to-be mommy to #2

Me with a HUGE keg of beer – or a pot where they mix it all together – i don’t know – i wasn’t listening during the tour

A box with one of Uncle Trev’s logos – isn’t it cool?

My trip to North Carolina…part 2
On the way down to NC, after a very very long and frustrating day in the car…11 hours to be exact (just about 6 hours longer than it SHOULD have taken thanks to lovely holiday traffic)…we arrived in Virginia where we stopped for the night to visit the Semlers. My mom went to college with both Jamie and Doug and even roomed with Jamie, who was her big sis at Kappa. I was so happy to hear that they had two little kids like me, Joey and Gracie, to play with. We had the best time! Thanks again for my cool toys!

Later in the week, we visited Bill and Jennie Cvetkovski (yes – that’s a difficult last name for a 3 month old to type) and their two little girls Alex and Olivia. Bill and Jennie went to high school with my my mom and dad back in Michigan. I overheard them all about an arranged marriage or something like that but i’m not sure…I guess I’ll find out when I’m older.
